Please send us a message if you are interested in volunteering for the Oakdale Rescue Mission (we have a variety of needs that vary from weekly. to monthly, to quarterly, and everything in between).
Before sending us an email, please review the Statement of Faith below. If you have any objections to our Statement of Faith, we respectfully request that you refrain from volunteering for our program.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the ONLY inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one living and true God, who exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His Virgin Birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
We believe people were created for eternal life. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin (hell), or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation in Christ (heaven).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ and that all believers are members of the Church, that is the Body of Christ.
